Join us for a special lunch with Yvette Cooper, former works and pensions secretary, former shadow foreign secretary and recent runner up in Labours leadership election. Yvette will speak particularly to women on the case to Remain in the EU
Too often, women’s voices aren’t front and centre of political debate. But this referendum needs to be different. Women’s views must be central to the debate about the future of our country.
Our membership of the EU helps create jobs, helps our economy to thrive and provides really important employment safeguards, like maternity and paternity leave, and rules on equal pay.
Only by staying in the EU will we protect all these things and ultimately it is women that will decide the result of this referendum.
With only have a few weeks left until polling day, why not come to this important event, hear from Yvette on the case for remain, bring a friend who might be on the fence and hear about what you can do in these final weeks to help make the case for remain to other women around you.
