Would I still be able to travel across Europe if we left?

Answer

Being in the EU gives you and your family the freedom to travel across all the member nations without a visa. It means you can work, study and retire anywhere you want in the EU, giving you and your children lots of opportunities abroad.
If we left, leave campaigners have said we would need a visa to travel in the EU, and you would no longer automatically be able to live, work, set up a business or retire in the EU, and young people would no longer automatically be able to benefit from the Erasmus programme where they can work or study at universities across the EU.
